Aviation opportunities sit at the heart of the RAF Air Cadet experience. In line with our mission to ensure access for all, the Air Cadet Charity has launched the Immersive Technology Grant Programme to help ATC squadrons purchase flight simulator and Esports equipment.
This initiative aims to ensure that every squadron, regardless of size, location, or existing resources, can experience the thrill of virtual flight and competitive aviation-themed training.

To assist with demand, we have divided the application process into three phases. Application windows for each phase will open regularly throughout the year.
The next Phase 1 application window opens 1 December 25 - 5 January 26
Open to squadrons that do not have any flight simulator or E-Sports equipment.
The next Phase 2 application window opens 2 March 26 - 30 March 26
Open to squadrons who may already have equipment but would like to add to existing kit with one of the available options.
The next Phase 3 application window opens 13 April 26 - 18 May 26
Open to squadrons who require a grant to update existing kit.
